HEADCANONS
Dylan identifies as a cis man, but is very fluid in his gender presentation - to him, clothes are just clothes, so he wears what makes him comfortable. His parents might not always understand his desire to paint his nails or wear a skirt, but they’ve taken a step back to let himself figure out who he is.
If he had to put a label to his sexuality, it would be pansexual, but Dylan doesn’t really feel the need to contain himself to a label. Just like his gender, he considers his sexuality to be fluid, and connects to people rather than how they present their gender.
He is a horrible driver, though he doesn’t realize how awful at it he is and doesn’t understand why people seem to never want to be his passenger. He’s never been in an accident, though that’s probably due more to the road sense of other people on the road.
He often forgets his own strength, and genuinely shocks himself when he breaks a mug or a cupboard hinge - his parents are a lot more in control of their strength, as they’ve had more years of practice.
Dylan is pretty much always hungry and can always be counted on to have some sort of snack on him.
He is ambidextrous and will do whatever he needs to do with whatever hand is free.
Dylan is incredibly observant, and tends to ask a lot of questions as he tries to make sense of the world around him.
He is quite close with both of his parents, Watson and Ava Frye, as they raised him with a completely open and honest communication policy where he could ask questions about whatever he wanted. In return, they would keep him in the loop (in an age appropriate way) about things that would affect him and his life, which is part of the reason they told him about his werewolf gene so early on.
After a bit of angst, Dylan has, for the most part, come to terms with his nature, and quite honestly, thinks that it is pretty damn cool.
“If the apocalypse comes, beep me.” / introducing aj!
BASIC STATS
Full Name: Adora Jane Mary-Anna Darke
Nickname(s): AJ, Little Darke (from older people in town)
Age: 20
Date of Birth: August 30, 2000
Hometown: Bridgemead, Massachusetts
Species: Human
Gender: Cis woman
Pronouns: She/her
Sexuality: Unsure, most likely not straight
Religion: Atheist
Occupation: Assistant to Delia Darke
Living Arrangements: Darke residence, North Bridgemead
Faceclaim: Lili Reinhart
MINI SUMMARY
AJ is the Scooby Gang’s leader and, god, does she hate that name. She takes what they do pretty damn seriously, which is why she accidentally formed a little group of friends that spawned this bigger one. She has good leadership qualities, for the most part: she’s diligent and diplomatic, always willing to listen, but she’s also firm when it comes to what she wants and slightly manipulative. AJ prefers to keep all her cards close to her chest and doesn’t show them to just anyone, getting to know her on a deeper level isn’t easy and she finds herself building the walls back up even when it comes to her closest friends. Figuring out Bridgemead is an obsession to her, even if she’s trying to do good things in her process of investigation. It’s all a little more complicated and difficult than she thinks even she’s ready for, but she tries to be prepared for the worst, always.
TROPES: Constantly Curious, Damsel out of Distress, Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!, Guile Heroine, Plucky Girl
HEADCANONS / OTHER INFO
AJ drives a baby blue Mustang Convertible passed down from her grandmother that’s somehow in pretty decent shape. She’s thankful for the Darke family money for that one.
If she’s not in Scooby Gang HQ, your best bet is probably her aunt’s house, though she’s unlikely to be doing much work for her, she’ll more likely be snooping through her personal library.
AJ is about 95% sure she isn’t straight, but that’s about it. She’s had her first kiss, but anything beyond that is foreign to her. Honestly, the easiest way to trip her up would be to flirt with her, because she’s so extremely inexperienced and unsure about that stuff, it just might work. To her, it’s been because she’s always been busy with other things, but it’s more likely a fear of intimacy.
Back in high school, she told everyone that she had no intention of going to college, but that was only after being rejected at the small amount of schools she applied for which no one but her parents knows about. She thought she’d be one of the people to get the Bridgemead local scholarship, but she didn’t, so she’s figuring it out one step at a time now. The disappointment wasn’t much of a surprise, secretly she knew it was coming, her grades dropped after she got so swept up in everything happening in town, but she prefers not to think about what could have been.
While she has a friendly demeanour about her, she can come off a little pushy when she wants something from someone. She likes to call it consistency!
AJ hasn’t worn a skirt without some form of thick tights or leggings underneath it since she was in ninth grade and she doesn’t wear skirts often these days at all. She much prefers pants, ranging from thick, coloured corduroys, to jeans, to suit pants and at times, even the occasional pair of overalls.
She’s often not caught dead without her favourite leather jacket, passed down by her mother from the 90s and still in quite good condition. She also wears a crucifix with a built in tiny blade, carries holy water and a sheathed dagger charmed by the Scooby Gang’s witches to protect her and sometimes even wears leather fingerless gloves... for punching.
Her relationship with her parents is interesting, to say the least. With her father, she’s unimpressed and more or less is happy to use him for extra cash to fund things for the Scooby Gang and herself. She doesn’t know the woman she caught him with and refuses to talk about it with him, he pays up because he’s a little bit of a coward and feels bad.
While she loves her mother, she often finds she resents her for not being around when she needs her to be. Skype calls with her dad beside her can only go so far. She’s only ever been on one trip with her, a couple of summers back, otherwise her mother is a lone wolf about her travelling and is gone half the year, typically.
Her house is one of the restored, historical homes in North Bridgemead, her father paid to have it done up before she was born, after her parents moved to town. It’s a dark brown Victorian style home with a wraparound porch and lots of windows. Her bedroom uses one of the turrets as a reading nook. It’s beautiful, but probably should he haunted.
“you poor unfortunate soul. it’s sad but true.” / kody.
a sweet little angel with a dark side.

Full Name: dakota timothy pierce
Nickname(s): kody
Age: eternally eighteen
Date of Birth: december 13th, 2002
Hometown: orlando, fl
Species: vampire
Gender: cis man
Pronouns: he/him
Sexuality: bicurious? don’t ask him he doesn’t know
Religion: agnostic
Occupation: high school senior
Living Arrangements: living with the ‘rents
Faceclaim: austin abrams
MINI SUMMARY
if kody had been given the opportunity to grow up, he probably would’ve ended up being one of those really annoying disney adults. instead, he gets the luxury of looking like a teenager forever, and it’s a lot less easy to judge a supposed ‘ high school student ’ for being obsessed with disney parks than it is someone in their mid-to-late-twenties. before becoming a vampire, kody was a very happy and lucky kid who was rather easy to befriend. now, he’s a little more closed off, afraid of the monster within him -- but still attempting to maintain the image that he’s “ riding a hawaiian rollecoaster ride ”.
HEADCANONS / OTHER INFO
kody’s parents are occasionally over-bearing. they love to spoil their son and are very excited every time he brings someone from the scooby gang around their home. they feel a large amount of guilt for uprooting him from orlando, and do everything they can to make sure he’s properly acclimated to their new city, including giving him his own set of keys to the family prius.
the last time kody visited the karma cafe was the night he was attacked and turned into a vampire. he’s very anxious about returning, afraid that whoever cursed him to be like this is waiting for him to return one day. he refuses to meet the group there when they say they’re meeting up, often using suspicious excuses to get out of showing up.
kody has very little experience when it comes to intimacy. aside from kissing two girls at his old school ( at the eighth grade dance, and during one meaningless game of spin the bottle ), there has been very little romance in kody’s life. and since moving to bridgemead, there hasn’t been anyone to ignite a spark inside his hopeless romantic heart. he’s never expressed these feelings out loud, but kody has always felt an attraction to boys. the crush he had on jeremy sumpter’s portrayal of peter pan was too hard for him to ignore growing up. it’s something he’s curious about exploring, but at the same time... he’s terrified of being rejected.
since turning, the desire to strike up anything romantic with anyone has been put on the back burner. the last thing he wants is to hurt people, especially those he considers close to him, and he immediately represses any romantic feelings that arise in an attempt to keep them safe.
designing roller coasters has been kody’s dream since he was a kid, and since becoming so invested in the supernatural with his friends, he’s been tinkering with an idea for a haunted house roller coaster crossover.
upon reuniting with his friends after being turned, dylan had made a comment about him smelling weird, and ever since then kody has obsessively showered every morning to try and combat the vampire scent he unknowingly gives off.
the last time kody fed on a living person was a week after turning, and he’s deeply afraid for the day when he snaps and accidentally feeds on someone again.
kody misses a disneyworld churro more than anything. dont even bother offering him a carnival churro or make him one yourself, it will make him sad.

biography
kendall is the youngest daughter of bridgemead’s police chief and a school teacher. there wasn’t a day that she and her sister weren’t being dragged all around town - whether it was to watch their father play in a charity softball game along with the rest of the station, or helping their mother organize and run a food drive down at the high school. given that her parents were a crucial part in bridgemead’s development into the town mayor tilley had always wanted it to be, there was nary a town sanctioned event that the decker children weren’t in attendance. though it was evident from a young age that kendall wasn’t at all like her sister, audrey. she remembers watching the older girl go out for clubs, and any and all extracurricular’s she could. this made her the better known decker daughter, kenny happily taking the backseat to watch her sister thrive enough for the both of them.
despite their completely opposite demeanors, the decker sisters were incredibly close. with only a 3 year age gap, their parents were pleased that they seemingly found a sweet spot that allowed the two to get along. kendall was mostly interested in the arts - with enough books to create her own library, a stash of antique records, and practically every article of clothing stained with paint. audrey was a senior girl scout, and when she was older, a cheerleader. she was the top of her class, on the fast track to any ivy league college that was lucky enough to receive her application. she was the perfect daughter, in any parents’ eyes. but thankfully for her, she didn’t get the brunt of this. in fact, both of her parents were incredibly loving to the girls. and though she loved them both equally, kendall had always considered her mother so much more than just a parent. they were inseparable, practically best friends.
so it doesn’t come as a shock that when her mother is diagnosed and swiftly loses her battle with breast cancer, kendall’s entire world is turned upside down. at this point, the girls are 13 and 16, and it’s a massive loss not only on their family, but the town of bridgemead as well. but the world kept on turning, and business continued as usual while kendall remained in the same spot, retreating even further into her own solitude now that her mother was taken from her too soon, and so unexpectedly.
years come and go and kenny can still very distinctly feel the hole her mother left in her world. try as he might - and believe me, he tries - her father can’t seem to patch it up. days fade into months, and life just goes on. audrey graduates and kenny is soon to follow, though their plans - with no surprise - differ greatly. audrey was on her way to harvard, just close enough to home to keep tabs on kendall and their father, but just far enough to enjoy her newfound freedom. kendall opted for a gap year to get some work experience under her belt, scoring a job at a thrift shop located in the town square. weekends where audrey came home were one of the few things kendall looked forward to, but the weekend of her disappearance had already felt off to the younger sister. all audrey could talk about was a party that was being held in hawthorne forrest, which already sparked some red flags. come to find out she was reuniting with some friends from bridgemead high, ones that had never impressed kendall enough to even learn their names.
audrey left after giving kendall’s hand a reassuring squeeze - three times to say i love you, something their mother had always done to them. and after that night, audrey was gone. her disappearance triggered the same pain and loss for kendall that she felt the night her mother died. she made her father promise to never stop looking for her, no matter how many nights they came back empty handed, how many leads ended up fruitless, and how much time passed. the few things she loved were being torn out from under her like a rug, leaving her to fall on her face, grief stricken and alone every time.
an entire year passes with no answers and she can tell her father is starting to go through the motions of accepting their loss. that is, nor was ever, an option for kendall. she began to take things into her own hands, using what little resources she had to find an answer for where her sister had disappeared to. dead end after dead end does nothing to extinguish her fire, instead helping kendall realize that finding her sister was much more than a one man job. this leads her to seek out the help of AJ after seeing a flyer posted in the window of her job for the scooby gang. the thought of leaving her sister’s life in the hands of a group calling themselves that has her skeptical, but there isn’t much kendall hasn’t considered trusting in order to get audrey back.
