Rea: first of all congratulations on the win, obviously tonight your third NHL game. What have you learned about life in the NHL three games in?
Lian: I don't know. I can't really realize it yet. It's- uh it's crazy experience. I'm just trying to do my best and, yup, keep it sharp, and I mean everyday I have something new to learn, and uh, yup, just keep it going.
Severyn: We're watching that capitals team from up here in the cheap seats. It looks like a pretty big burly squad. How was it at ice level today?
Lian: Yeah. We knew that they came hard. The guys told me I should keep my head up. So, no, it was a physical game. It was a, yeah, it was a play off game. I mean, uh, they are heavy, and we are heavy too. It was a tight game, and um, yeah the luck was on our side.
Rea: Lian, it was such a quick call up, when you jumped in on this home stand. You said your family wasn't able to make it over for game one. Has your family been able to get over here for game two or game three? Obviously they're coming from overseas.
Lian: Uh, no. Not yet. We are planning on it, when they wanna come in here. They are right now skiing in the mountains in Switzerland. So, I- I bet I don't talk to them too much. They are having a good time in the mountains, and um, yup, I have to work, so it's fine with me.
Severyn: Talk about Jake Oettinger. It's nice to play with a guy like that, and it's much easier on you, just to play your game, and allow shots from the outside.
Lian: No, I mean he's a great goalie. Today, that gave us a- he was unreal. Make good saves. He was talking to us Ds and some good breakouts, and uh, I think the whole D core, we were solid today. We're bring the pucks out, and the forwards, yeah, they did a good job on the front.
Rea: Lian, we would all love to be skiing in the mountains of Switzerland right now, but we're having a blast watching you begin your NHL career. Congratulations on everything so far.
