Brietta ~ Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus

I LOVE the fact that it's an original standalone fairy tale.

This film deserves way more recognition than it gets.

If i had a penny for every time I've seen a character cursed to be a pegasus for whatever reason by the villain, I'd have two pennies, which isn't a lot, but it's strange that it's happened twice.

They even both have a bell! (for different reasons but whatever)

#I love mixing my childhood together #well “childhood” that would be the 90s anime for sailor moon mostly #but in the 90s anime helios isn't cursed to be pegasus #he can just change between horse and human #so it doesn't count #away from that #this fits quite well #other than the reasoning for being cursed #I don't remember this barbie movie well but the villain guy wanted to marry brietta I think was her name #and her parents wouldn't allow it so he cursed her into a pegasus #and then he tried it again 15 or 20 years later with her younger sister annika #on the other hand nehelenia was making sure she couldn't be stopped from taking over earth #she had no interest in helios otherwise #well if we ignore the 90s anime because she had some creepy vibes there #I don't know this just came to me after I saw a fanart for the barbie movie on pinterest #had to share #helios #helios sailor moon #brietta #i think #sailor moon #sailor moon eternal #bishoujo senshi sailor moon #barbie movie #barbie and the magic of pegasus #parallels #obviously the stories aren't all that similar i just found this part in particular similar

Brietta - Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus

While watching Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus, have you ever had dissonance from the way Brietta looks in human form?

Most of the cartoon we see her in the form of a Pegasus, which looks very harmonious, softly. There is calmness, maturity in her features.

I portrayed her according to Pegasus form, her hair, her features. I don't see the point of drawing to the end, this sketch quite reflects my idea of Brietta
