     “well, i dunno, kiddo,” sun moves to sit beside his son, ignoring how      old he sounds when his knees pop a little. he’s not old. he’s just…     experienced. “do you think it looks ugly? cause last time i checked,      ‘some guys’ aren’t the ones wearing your tail. you are.”  he reaches      out to poke at the boy’s chest, making sure he’s actually looking at him.

     “shouldn’t matter what someone else thinks when it comes to you.      if you like it, you should do it.” here, sun loops his arm around his son’s      shoulders, tugging him closer for a noogie, “besides, blue’s one of my      favorite colors.”
