It´s fuc… brilliant! At least the bar has a very high wow-factor. Loved it. Great drinks, great barman, great atmosphere, great barstools, great everything. Can´t wait to go back. Actually I want to stay in that hotel. Amazing!
The GB1 restaurant was also great. Ok, my grirlfriend´s main course was not that overwhelming, but the osyters were awesome and my cod was outstanding (sprinkled with grilled scallops and garnished with grilled, almost burnt chicken skin). And the wine: yesssss!!!! Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc, yes, great. But the Te Koko is so wonderfully brilliant, maybe I should have a bath in it. Boom!
So we definitely go back to the bar, maybe stay in the hotel and maybe go back to the restaurant. And we need to have the lovely looking sandwich board next time.
