104-3131 - Royal Pavilion Gardens

This sketch was done on our last full day in Hove/Brighton starting with a visit to Art in the Park (in St. Anne’s Well Gardens, Hove). Then lunch from Pompoko…where there was nowhere to sit so we sat in the park – and I sketched this (I used washi tape to mask the edges for a change). The rest of day involved visits to “Artists Open Houses” – part of Brighton Festival, which was very inspiring.…

On our first day in Hove we took a walk along the sea front into Brighton, passing through George Street, visiting the Boat Museum and a traditional hall of mirrors.
