Hello! I'm sorry to disturb you, I just wondered if you could suggest any good stormpilot fanfiction :)

oh man, do not apologize!! i’ve read a whole lot, so here are just my very very favorites. ain’t nothin better than slow-burn relationship angst that ends in happiness/really great sex! (note: i’m just summarizing these; any additional info or warnings can be found at the fic links!)

tell me about the big bang by thebrotherswinchester37k | M | completedthis is my favorite of all favorites. it is SO GOOD. i cry on every reread. it’s beautiful, incredibly well-written, and perfectly painful. just read this fic, you owe it to yourself. 

maybe this time by pdameron14k | E | completedthe bakery AU of my dreams. cheesy? yes. (literally, because of the bakery, get it? …i’ll see myself out.) wonderful and perfect and angsty and beautiful? ALSO YES. read it, i cried. a lot. 

first comes the night by coffeeinallcaps20k | E | completedthis is tagged with “poe needs a hug” and you will feel that, deep in your soul, long before you have finished reading it. this fic is formulated for Ultimate Dameron Angst™… and honestly, what more could i ask for? i love it.

Incendiary materials in War (series) by DeputyChairman21k | E | completedhands-down the most painful fic on this list (for me at least, having lived through the whole pining-for-your-best-friend thing yikess), but SO WORTH IT. i cried at this also. 

Somebody to Love by dreamfleet + mezmerize 101k | E | completedmodern-day AU where finn is poe’s daughter’s teacher. this is so precious and wonderful–the characters are written so well and there’s so much ANGST and PAIN and MISUNDERSTANDING and SUPER HOT SEX, it’s incredible. i read it in one sitting, and cried a lot. 

Home Out In The Wind (series) by bomberqueen17169k | E | not completedlisten. listen to me. this series is not completed, and i don’t know how it’s going to end, and right now honestly i have a whole fuckin lot of emotions about it, so i can’t promise you much on the happy-ending front. but not only is it ridiculously well-written, it’s beautiful and angsty and contains the absolute gem that is “Dealing With Your Inevitable Crush on Poe Dameron.” read it.
