I absolutely loved it. I think you might enjoy it more if you think of it as just another book, rather than a JK Rowling book. Here's a review I wrote of it, but mainly, I thought it was well-written and interesting. The best thing I've read in months.

agree! I went through Season 7 more out of loyalty than enjoyment, but that was the episode I realised I was going to stop watching House. I tried watching one or two episodes of Season 8 but I just couldn't. I still haven't seen the finale.

She is already set apart from the other women characters for having such a witty and cynical personality. When she finds out that Benedick is in love with her she creates a sonnet for him to express her true feelings.
After her cousins has been shamed she is filed with rage. Benedick comes to comfort her. during this encounter she expresses her hate for being a women so she could challenge Claudio herself. Which in this time period i a very liberal way of thinking. Since she can not challenge him she ask Benedick to do it for her.
Her personality is unmatched. She would have taken matters in her hand but due to her restrictions she bequeaths them to the next best thing.
The Bright Young Thing
This is a girl who takes matters into her own hands to get what she wants - BYTs are generally those who bring about the resolution of comedies. They are (obviously) young, though often older than the babes
