Big news!

The reason I’ve been so absent from fandom things including writing lately is that I’ve been TIRED. That’s not the big news.

Anyway, I’ve been tired because my husband knocked me up (it’s a boy!), but that’s also not the big news.

The big news is that I’m so close to convincing him to name the baby boy “Carter” just in case he turns out like my husband whose favorite words are “actually” and “I need more time.”

Nothing compares to the feeling of complete control that you had over your text messages with T9. Autocorrect? Never met her. Back in the good old days texting and driving never took your eyes off the road.

Your annual reminder to reserve the last cup or so of your custard filling until your pie is already firmly positioned on the rack and inside the oven. Then add the last cup to avoid the filling splashing up onto (or heaven forbid over) the edges of your crust.

Does anyone else’s corporate hell hole try to cram a month of work into the first two weeks of December to offset employee time off? Or is it just mine?

Something about quiet weekend mornings makes me think I should only be watching season 1-3 episodes of SG-1. Those later seasons are prime time only episodes. 🤷🏼‍♀️ can’t explain it. Just a vibe.
