My littles turned 10 and 8 today and we kicked off birthday celebrations with a weekend by the seaside. After almost two months at home, it truly was a breath of fresh air, and I count my blessings every day that I live in this beautiful country. Happy birthday J&J! Finally got to check out the new hottest place in town @vietnextdoor_ , with a ‘best restaurant design’ award already under its belt, it’s easy to see why: neutral tones, booth seating, eggshell mosaic tables (the eggshells were carefully and painstakingly cleaned and saved from the parent restaurant next door) and plenty of granite, I was in interior heaven. But most importantly, the food was the hero here, my favourite being the most incredible chicken wings (that uber crisp and delicious batter!), raw kingfish betel leaves and please don’t forget to order the Vietnamese coffee panacotta if you come this way (you can thank me later...). It’s been a while between interior shots! Thought I’d make it a good one, so in love with that quilted pink!
