        Babs was aware that she ran her city with a certain finesse. Though calling it her city was a little much, it was on loan if anything. A smile came to her lips, honest as her affection towards Kara. “That’s a high compliment coming from the girl of steel. Catchy nickname, by the way…” She was fine by just going by Barbara or Batgirl– after all, she was mostly just genius girl with gadgets, didn’t quite roll off the tongue. “Done for the night? And if I know you– probably famished. Burgers on me?”

Kara let out a laugh as she landed beside the other girl. “You know me. When will I ever say no to free burgers? If you’re getting the burgers, I’ll get the drinks and ice cream. Sounds fair, right?”

Ignoring the growl of her stomach, she looped her hand around Barbara and walked beside the ginger-head with a slight bounce in her steps. “And I was just being honest, Babs,” she said, “But thanks. It sure is better than ‘Maid of Might’, huh?”

          Babs looked up from her book and smiled softly. “I don’t really have a lot of time for fun. Especially when you’re gone.” Leaning over she gently kissed the shorter woman’s cheek. A moment later and she was looking over the reference and checking the monitor screen. Being a technical genius made her valuable to the men and women of her world, though she doubted her intelligence mattered when opposed to the Professors.

The Professor leaned into the other woman’s kiss, and smiled over at her. “She watched as the other read the monitor, before approaching her at the screen. “Well, if that’s the case, maybe we should spend a little extra time with each other then.”

The Professor wrapped his arm around the sleepy Barbara, watching her rest comfortably on him. Leaning over, he placed a kiss on the top of her head. “Did you have a tough day?”

       She hadn’t really had a whole lot of experience with lovers. Barbara had always been too busy with getting her PhD and then becoming a masked vigilante. Even with the occasional kiss between fellow bats, she’d never really been interested in someone– not like this– not like with the Professor. She placed her hands on either side of her face and pulled his lips to her own aggressively, kissing him with all she was worth– salt and sweat and fire that made her capable of fighting on the streets of Gotham, Barbara gave it all to him. “I don’t do things soft.”

He inched himself closer, as he managed to kiss her back. His lips against hers, tasting her on his own. It was enough to make anyone go wild. He looked up - his gaze meetings hers as he moved a hand to caress her cheek softly. “Well, then. I will make sure I give it to you rough then,” he told her. “Maybe I could make it so you won’t be able to walk straight. Would you want that?”
