Listen.... to the people who stand against reinstating parole, the Parole Board does their due diligence. This brother has been denied for “nature of the crime” every year, and if you are familiar with Virginia law, you know that only those who were sentenced prior to midnight on Jan 1, 1995 are still eligible for parole hearings (until 7/1/20). It doesn’t mean automatic release. We have to decarcerate.
