You groaned. Unfortunately your days were numbered, the calendar moving faster than you wanted it to.
Before you knew it, you’d be back to school.
It’s not that you didn’t love teaching, no, but it just sucked this time because you were starting back before Jensen. Usually you had a bit of time to yourself to prep after he left for Vancouver...
This year, it was all wrong.
You looked at the papers strewn in front of you, trying to put together your lessons as best you could. Just as you were about to groan again, strong hands found your shoulders and began massaging.
This time the sound you made was more of a moan, and an appreciative one at that.
“What can I do for you, to help?” Jensen asked, kissing the top of your head. You sighed. You knew he’d keep asking, so you grabbed a stack.
“Organize by date?” you asked, looking up at him adoringly. He smiled softly and took the papers, pulling another chair out to sit down. The two of you worked quietly for a minute, the comfort of having him near and helping you seeping into you bones.
Maybe it wasn’t so bad to start working before Jensen after all.
“Once we’re done with this,” Jensen said, his fingers tucked between papers in his hand, “I’m taking you out for your birthday. One last hurrah before we both start up again.”
You smiled. Yep, he was nothing more than perfect.
Oh, Jensen. My first love. Jensen Ackles is... that quiet boy in the back of the class, who is too handsome to even look at, but when you do, your heart stops because he was looking at you too.
Jensen Ackles is the reason I kept on with this show when I almost gave up. His eyes pulled me in, his smile caught me off guard.

Series of the Week: Yesterday was Tuesday, right? But today is Tuesday too This week’s SOTW is Heart Of A Hunter by @muchamusedaboutnothing (all acts tbh but I’ve linked Act I). When I discovered this Saga (yes it’s a fucking SAGA) I immediately began to binge read. I actually stayed up all night catching up to the current chapter. The reader and Dean’s sassy banter is hilarious, and Sam is the best not-so-little brother.
