I think what they did wrong was put the octavia killing pike scene as the final scene when it could be clarke telling bellamy it's not over.

Yes, I think that was definitely one of the wrong choices they made in the ep! I guess they thought it was needed as “revenge” for Lincoln’s death but making it the last scene of the finale just seems wrong to me. They could have added so many different things after it (*cough* bellarke hug *cough*)

do you think skye would ever forgive ward? i hope so but i understand it's too hard for her

This is a good question, I think for the time being no, because I think she trusted him, and felt like what he did was the worst kind of betrayal. She confided in him, and he confided in her about their deepest secrets. So I think when she found out he was Hydra, she felt like he broke that trust.

What I really love about Skyeward is how eaily in they could comminicate, and that trust can’t be easily regained. That’s something that Ward will have to prove over time. I am a big fan of Redemption story lines, and I truly believe Ward can be redeemed. Ward is a broken, damaged individual who is battling his own demons. He suffered through abuse, and was manipulated by Garett. And because of that he thinks he owed Garett everything, and thus was he joined Hydra.

But despite the fact infiltrating S.H.I.E.L.D. was his mission, his feelings for Skye were not a mission. That was real. Skye was someone who could relate to him and confide in him. Skye is Ward’s road to lightness. Does that mean it’s going to happen overnight? Hells no. It is something that is going to be a series long journey. He’s going to have moments were he might slip, but in the end I believe he will prevail. Otherwise it wouldn’t be realistic. 

In the end however, I do think that Skye will forgive Ward. And I do think they will be endgame. I think his road to redemption, will also make them stronger.

I also do think Ward needs to do this for himself too, and not just because of Skye.
