It's never a dull moment when you visit our tent @vanswarpedtour. Come share your struggle with one of our incredible team members. They'll be that listening ear you've always longed for, a shoulder to cry on-If you need it, and they're there to speak life into your heart and hopefully you'll leave feeling inspired. 📷: @rayduker #youthoutreach #warpedtour #hope #bringyourdarknesstolight
"One of my favorite moments today, will forever be in my heart. A girl was sitting in our tent to shade herself from the sun. Earlier, Arthur had offered her a chance to fill out a card for our Bring Your Darkness to Light campaign, but she said she didn't know what she would even write. Well, while I was talking to her about the heat, she mentioned to me that she was four months pregnant and I immediately got into "momma stells" mode and made sure she was drinking water and had eaten. Well, all of the sudden, I felt led by the Lord to tell her that her baby is a miracle and a gift and that she is going to be a great mother. She said thank you and her head hung a little low. She grabbed a clipboard and started filling out a card. When she was finished she handed me the card and it wrote "I am four months pregnant from being raped. Most people said I should have aborted, but j don't have it in me." I hugged her, prayed with her, and spoke to her about how God will take that ugly situation and make it beautiful with the precious gift of life she is carrying. She cried, smiled, thanked me, and we continued to chat for a bit. We exchanged contact information and I can't wait to hear about that precious baby and how God is going to use its life and the situation for something beautiful. So thankful to have met her today. What a gift SKAD has being on this tour."-@thestellamalone #bringyourdarknesstolight #hope #youthoutreach #warpedtour
Warped tour in OKC today. Loving the conversations and being able to look kids in the eyes and speak life into their hearts. Hearing their stories of abuse, self-harm, and the hurt they've experienced from their families is painful, but being able to look them in the eyes and having the chance to tell them they're worthwhile, makes any hot, sweaty day, worthwhile. We LOVE being on Warped! #bringyourdarknesstolight #youthoutreach #hope #skad #warpedtour (at Remington Park)
Don't ever feel as if you can't tell someone where you're at and if you're struggling. Just because you've overcome something once, doesn't mean you won't face it again. Speak up about it in a safe community with someone you trust and just know that it's okay to struggle. Struggle well and in the company of others-we all do. #bringyourdarknesstolight #warpedtour #SKAD #youthoutreach

I actually can't sleep because the second girl from the left, Lily (15), has been on my heart since I met her yesterday. She filled out a #bringyourdarknesstolight card at the @skadigram tent that said "I don't think anyone would give a shit if I was dead or alive." (I NEVER share what kids say on their cards with their photos along with it, but this situation is different.) after I read her card, we had an amazing conversation and I was able to pray with her, then during the festival that day (saturday) she would walk by and say hey. She told me she would be at the fest today (Sunday) but I never saw her. This weighs heavy on my heart, but mainly for a specific reason. Around 9 PM her friends came to my tent (the two seen in the photo talking to Madison) asking if I had seen Lily, in which I replied that I hadn't. They told me that they had her phone and that they can't find her and the last time they saw her she was with the really tall guy they either met or were just walking around with, earlier that day. Anyway, I told them to go to security and then I never heard from them again. About an hour later, I stopped by the security office to ask for her whereabouts and they had no answers for me.I had a scary dream about Lily last night and I haven't been able to stop thinking about her and whether or not she's okay. If you guys can repost this photo and tag #letsfindlily & #southbysowhat that may give me peace knowing she's safe and sound. Lily, you ARE loved and people DO in fact care about you. Despite just meeting you, I too care about you. I'm posting this just to make sure she is safe and if anyone knows her, please tag her or her friends in this, so I can be at peace. Thank you so much everyone.
