feeling quite reflective about my name. i love it. it's nice. i'm glad my mum stuck to her guns after the issues it supposedly caused when i was a newborn. i'm happy with it, even though it was never on a keyring, and even when i had to be coached to respond to my middle name for my own safety when visiting family in northern ireland, and even when two of my precious jobs have made me use my middle name because they couldn't be bothered learning how to pronounce it.
i love the choice my mum and dad made.
we need horrific driving psa's back on television. i am being so serious. i'm talking 'julie knew her killer' levels of trauma to get through to people.
it's my birthday today. celebrating with some vegan chocolate cornflake clusters yum.

my friend of fourteen years and i have decided to become penpals to keep in contact during these turbulent times and i want to do this so bad but what do i say to her? like, what the fuck do i even write?
colour matching by holding up a thread to the screen and saying 'close enough' because the person you thrifted your threads from didn't mark down what dmc they were. agony.
What you're British??? 😭
why are you crying? i'm the one who's got to live here.
