My mum, my sis and I have been waiting at Musgrave Park for the arrival of the BLM protest here in Brisbane.
They just started getting across the Victoria Bridge (five-ten min away)
There are estimates of 10k-50k people attending and I have never been prouder of my city (mum’s at risk, so we didn’t attend, but we’ll greet them when they arrive)
I went to my first climate action protest today
Protest against Qld Government withdrawal of funding from QAHC, peak health services body for LGBTI community. Charlotte Street, Brisbane.
