Heya sorry for bothering you but going off the how to end dog fights question. Could there perhaps be a reason why some dogs are more prone to fights then others? And if so could their be ahuman at fault for their behaviour ~Thanks in advance
There are absolutely reasons some dogs may be more likely to get into fights, and people can absolutely influence it.
Genetic predispositions towards dog aggression, neurological problems, medical conditions that cause random pain, and all sorts of other things could make a dog more inherently likely to fight other dogs.
On the human side of things, encouraging aggressive behavior (such as a fighting or guard dog), incorrect management of all types of reactivity or aggressive tendencies, or abuse are all examples of things that could make a dog more likely to get into fights.
Dogs don’t exist in a vacuum - a dog’s behavior in a given situation is a response to all sorts of variables. Just as there are things we can do to help manage a genetic predisposition towards a problematic behavior (for instance, managing with bully breeds proactively to prevent barrier frustration from ever having the chance to develop) there are all sorts of things we can do intentionally or accidentally to change a dog’s behavior towards something negative.
