I’m planning to go to the Barbican quite early ~5:30 and hang out in the Lakeside terrace area (between the Lakeside entrance and the fountains, and beside the Barbican Kitchen where you can get drinks and food).  I’m too self-conscious to post selfies, but my most distinguishing characteristic is having frizzy hair, I’m middle-aged and round-ish (SIGH x 2) and will probably be wearing blue-over-black.  Please stop by and say HI!!!!  (and feel free to bring/pass on to anyone who might be interested)

Is it the main rivet-type one that most jeans have? If so, I don't know that you can really fix those. The good news is that if it does come off, you can just sew a regular button on it.

Yeap ! I was thinking of putting a new tack button in place since I don't have a big enough button to hold it in place. But yea, I think I think I could sew a button on as well. Maybe a hammer isn't worth it....

I understand, unfortunately pettiness seems to run rampant on the internet. The best thing you can do is just avoid it and that does mean judicious use of blacklist and sometimes unfollowing people. That's one of the reasons I always tag my sherlolly

Yea, I unfollowed a lot of people. It's a pity because I like all their other blog content. Just that I am really sick and tired of all those hate, ship wars, and the likes. Clearing up my dashboard never felt this good. I feel so much better after not seeing all those posts now.

Uh oh, did I miss more drama? Maybe it was a good thing I had to take a break...

It's just that I am tired of seeing hate on my dash, shipping wars, disagreements with headcanons, hating characters, etc. I joined this fandom in the first place because it was welcoming, loving and fun. I made lots of friends here and I genuinely like the people here. 

But then recently, it just got worse and worse. I might have to start cleaning up my dash and unfollowing people. 

I don't get it. Why can't everyone just let everyone ship in peace? You like Johnlock? That's great ! You like Sherlolly ? That's great too ! I like Mollcroft ! I like Adlock. What difference does it make? And if that's canon or going to be canon, then that's wonderful for you. But it doesn't mean that my ship is wrong. Why can't I just enjoy my ship in peace, why can't I just ship happily by myself in a corner ?

I mean, shipping characters should make you happy and who can dictate what is wrong to ship ? ???????????????????????????? If you don't agree with someone's ship, I think the main thing you should do is walk away and not shit on anyone's ship. 

I am just so done with all these and I don't even have the words to convey just how done I am. I have so much more to say but I shall not.

Yeah. I think about how shitty it would have been if I hadn't had a grandmother who loved sewing her granddaughters Sunday dresses. Because Lord help you if you're not dressed to the nines for Sunday School with your Precious Moments Bible in your little quilted Bible carrier.

THANKS SO MUCH! I think so, too. :-) Like I said, I may have heard wrong, but I remember someone saying that his rape scene was more edited then Millers. 

Either way... it's interesting and I'd like to hear him talk about it.
