My 80 year old parents finally watched Good Omens and LOVED IT! I was hoping they would just, you know, not dismiss it. For one thing, I had totally forgotten (because she hides it) that Mum still flinches at airplanes overhead, from an early childhood of bombing raids over London. But they were quoting bits back and forth today, and they got ALL the subtle generational British and Catholic in-jokes.
Phew!
