did you stan for britney even when she was going through that really tough time?

OH HELL YES see my mother (who tbh is more of a madonna stan) knows what britney was going through, see lets get personal:

my mom had a mental breakdown (mostly medical but inflamed do to my father being a mental and physical abuser to her) and she consequently lost both my sister and i who were in fact around the same age as jayden and sean were, my mom may not have had as public a break down as britney but still it was the same (just like 10+ years earlier) and my mom still didnt have custody of my sister and i even in '06/7/8 and she would just say i feel so awful for her

now at the time of britneys rough patch i was still around my dad and i owned her albums (as well as like aly and aj and hilary duff and some janet basic all the female superstars of my childhood) and i listened to it nonstop and i was in love with toxic i used to dance nonstop to it like e news had the song playing prior to commercials and id dance and i was so in love (the glitter suit more like the reason i know im a homo) and my father would try to make my mother out to be a mental patient and used britney as an example

and i would just say thats a bad example britney is famous she knows madonna michael jackson etc etc and i guess that was my like pre teen self being a mini stan (now he would always say things far worse than mental patient and much cruder words so i would go the route of success is the best revenge i guess) 

a lot of the reason i love britney so much is because she had a rough point in her life, that after that she was successful now its no secret that britney is a private person she rarely has personal tweets but for her to be able to be like 

about her situations regardless of the year or album era and even during her rough patch to be like 

was just beautiful not every celeb is as open about their personal life (demi lovato is excellent example of someone who is shes also using her story for the better) ((i can give examples of celebs who are horrible at being open too)) she grew with the cameras and i guess gave enough to them where she is not in the mood to share her personal details whether they be medical or domestic 

wow i could literally write an essay on how much i love britney but ill stop for now i guess
