In 2019 an Instagram account named Blurhatesme began posting photos & videos of a Mexican fan named Scarlett (aka bonebagg and the fan friends with Mirja) with Graham Coxon. These photos/videos were saved from Scarlett's public Instagram stories and included her and Graham together in L.A. a hotel elevator, dinner, an arcade, and a video of Graham buying her a Psyduck plushie and eating an in-her-hotel-room (in MX?) meal together which she posted earlier this year.

These videos came as shocking to most fans because they didn't know who bonebagg was. A Tumblr blog named grahamcoxoncult2 (I think, username has changed since then) posted much of the drama/fans discussing it at the time. Grahamcoxoncult2 came to the conclusion that the videos were not as bad as they looked and that blurhatesme was just a troll who wanted to smear Graham, when in fact, that was not based on any evidence, and the question of who this fan was remained a question well after blurhatesme deactivated in anger that Graham's fans were covering for a well-known, longtime alleged predator in the Blur fandom. Around this same time, Essy saw these posts with Graham and Scarlett all over social media because fans posted them in their stories. Shortly thereafter, around when the pandemic happened, Graham left his kid and Essy in LA alone and moved back to London by himself. At the time it was unsure if he'd moved back because his mother had passed away from cancer, or if his marriage was falling apart because of cheating. Scarlett found the entire thing hilarious because all the fans swarmed her accounts. As the months play out, Scarlett and Mirja continue to post images to make fun of how dense the blur fandom is, going as far to wear Graham's t-shirt he gave her on Instagram and laugh at how stupid fans were for thinking it was anything innocent.

Scarlet laughing at this person mentioning the cheating Graham did on Essy in 2013 that Scarlett, Michelle, and Mirja were involved in.

Meanwhile fans flocked to Graham's oldest daughter Pepper's TikTok to ask why her dad was cheating on her with someone Pepper's age. This same thing happened in the early 2010's on Pepper's Ask.fm page when she was a teen and the allegations came out the first time. Again, after all this, even after there were whispers about Graham splitting from his family (based on his wife's vague tweets about ptsd and very stressful times after being with an abuser), all the fans went back to acting like everything was normal and it was sweeped under the rug.

don't want to be rude or something but what's the point on keeping this up if he's not the same man anymore since he has a new family and he's with Rose since 2021 and has a newborn? He BARELY post something now, it's over, he won't go for 20yo anymore. The topic pop ups on Twitter once a year for a day, everyone forgets it, they move on, and that's it basically. I just can think on his younger daughter finding this when she grows up and that's sad, or her friends finding this or if she decides to have social media, people will harass her the same way people harassed Pepper. I won't dare to speak for him but it looks like he's not the same, i don't think he will cheat on Rose at his age... specially for The Waeve and all this bunch of kids that support Rose, this band and "their relationship" that will make a big scandal if he does something innapropiate with another girl. There's not an end goal, it's transparency of information that has been continuously lost because every person who has brought this information up has been bullied, harrassed and deleted their accounts after fans piling on. It is being posted because potentially vulnerable fans continue to be parasocial and to not post it when the infomation exists would be ethically wrong. Also, I don't mean to be rude but 'what if his kid finds it' and a few things in your ask fall into whataboutism fallacy.

You're right, it won't win, but winning is not the point of posting it. These things are complex, systemic issues within music fandoms around gender and power imbalances between victims who speak up about being abused and the multi-million dollar industry that has every reason to silence them.

This was said years ago when he was with Essy who was pregnant. "Oh, he is not like how he was on the GC forums [or with Anna] anymore." It was also said around his 2013 twitter "shutdown." See what happened.

Lastly, the internet loves to be divisive and does not like nuance or shades or gray. It is information, that is all. People are free to be critical of it, in the same way we should all be critical of information - for or against our arguments - that we read on the internet.

Is your posting about graham coxon allegations is true? Like,, really really TRUE and can't be denied? I'm sorry if i sound don't want to accept it but read all of that makes my heart hurt since i love graham💔 but if its really that true i will walk away

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the amount of testimonies alone is an Occam's razor. :/

Either every fan who has testified (some accounts published here, some of them not because they are requesting privacy) is lying for clout, this blog is lying for clout, 3 whistleblowers lied for clout, or there is a pattern of behavior that's gone on since at least the Graham Coxon forums that is being suppressed because this band makes a lot of money for other people.

I've seen this a lot in response to "the Graham Coxon allegations are fake, britpopabuse who posted them said they were fake and are deleted their account."

To recount this as succinctly as possible:

- Yes, britpopabuse posted that on twitter before deleting everything.

- Yes, shortly before that happened BPA started acting very out of character - extremely paranoid - telling me we had to move to encrypted messaging. Then they blocked me telling everyone I was working with Graham because I disagreed with them on posting a victim's testimony (they thought the victim was Graham pretending).

- An entire group chat watched britpopabuse go through what looked like a nervous mental breakdown, to the point where BPA blocked all trusted people in the chat saying they worked for Graham. This was after a YEAR of *constant* cyber harassment, doxxing, from insane fans and people involved with the band trying to discredit britpopabuse by pretending to be victims. Anyone in the chat that day can comment on this post to verify this was NOT typical behavior from bpa.

You have to understand how much stress that is to be under. Especially when people doxx you and begin threatening your personal safety, which fans did by posting BPA's photo, full name, everything.

TLDR; Britpopabuse had a mental health crisis. I don't like talking about it, but please full stop, stop using that as the reason for "graham coxon allegations being fake." The allegations are the testimonies of many fans and the effort of many to bring this to light. Conclude what you wish from the evidence posted, but please stop saying the GC allegations are fake because of britpopabuse's actions during their nervous breakdown.

This is a masterpost of the accusations around Graham and how they came to be. In late Oct/November of 2021 an account with the handle @/britpopabuse showed up on Instagram. The account posted screenshots from a gossip message board about celebrities and several mentioned Graham Coxon as someone they had known as publicly cheating on his wife and kid. Another user claimed that she had been in a relationship with him at one point. Another claim posted separately by coxonexpose, that is less verified, alleged that SA happened between her and Graham.

In each part are videos, images, that were shared with the Blur fandom by whistleblowers (blurhatesme and Britpopabuse), and any relevant information/context. For legal reasons I will be referring to everything as "allegations."

Today I realized that Dave Rowntree blocked me on my public twt account. I made maybe 2 or 3 tweets @ ing him back in Nov 2022 that were ignored, so this block is fairly recent - probably the last few months ~when Blur started touring.

I find this upsetting because I wasn't incessantly tagging Dave. I rarely use that acct. Rather, him blocking me blocks those tweets showing up with his name, Blur's name, or Eleven Management's name in twitter search. What that infers is that the band knows and are actively trying to hide mentions of the Graham Coxon allegations during Blur touring.

Please stop supporting Blur.

They are not feminists. They do not care that women came forward with allegations of abuse from Graham Coxon. Dave actively avoided allegations questions on reddit AMA and is blocking these tweets. His partner emailed minors to tell them Essy was a jilted lover. Eleven Management still, ignores everything to celebrate selling records and have "women employee spotlights." I ask myself if this is the same band I loved and supported for years and I am shocked by their actual behavior/ignoring very serious allegations. Dave's partner cares more about having a parasocial relationship with the super fans than actually listening to the ones sounding an alarm.

I went through my Blur shirts tonight and I'm selling them off. I'm done. I'm so disappointed. I'm embarrassed. Even setting aside that this whole record was bootstrapped by Damon and monetized by the band it's really...idk. These are people you are giving money to, people who find abuse allegations about a fellow band member worth suppressing. Remember that.

I’ve seen several tweets about the allegations against coxon being ‘debunked’. Is there any truth to this notion? I haven’t found any evidence of the allegations not being true, so I’m kinda confused right now

I wrote a lengthy answer to this and sadly my phone died and killed it so I'll try to summarize it. No, they are not debunked. Here is the unfiltered truth, after holding this in for two years I want to leave this blog in peace and move on with my life from Blur and their fans.

Journalists from the Guardian, who were specialized in these type of celeb abuse cases, were involved in this. BPA and I helped put them in contact with people, some who helped and others who were traumatized from things and didn't want to talk and others who were scared to. Some of this was mishandled by bpa being overly involved but I'm not going to go into that.

The journalists were given all of the sensitive files. They came back to us and said that unless the victim who came forward about S.A. came forward again, they couldn't write about it. The reason being that newspapers will only take on a risky story like this if there's testimony of S.A. or violent physical abuse and the coxonexpose fan did not come back when we asked/ghosted after being chased off by fans.

The Guardian journalist, again someone who specialized in this type of celeb abuse investigation who had seen all of things I hadn't seen including the sexual stuff, said to me, "don't get me wrong, from everything I've seen [GC] is definitely a creep."

Grooming and emotional abuse are not enough for papers to take on the risk of publishing something unless it's rape or violent and that's the sad reality. Graham started tweeting again as soon as the Guardian journalists backed off because of course he did.

Bpa was in contact with someone close to Graham who was devastated by this and I can't say who bc it would put them in danger/implicate them but even me saying it probably makes it obvious.

So the next time people say, oh that tumblr blog is just obsessed with hating Graham let them know that an accredited journalist validated everything and that it's dumb easy to get away with parasocial abuse when you're a semi-famous white dude in a retro band who is chronically online liking photos of young women in short skirts because the system supports white men and not victims. And I live with this pandora's box knowledge in my head every day, knowing Blur say nothing and I get called all sorts of things because I defended literal strangers on the internet at the risk of my own safety while most fans stayed quiet or picked apart every action and let those few of us saying something be punching bags. I'm not even a victim and I would never do this again.

hi, i just finished reading about all the disgusting things graham has done, it really has fucked up my brain, i had a very different image of him as a person.

Right now i just wanna know if there are any accusation of that kind towards Damon (since theyre best friends) im guessing no, but i just want to be sure cause at this point i dont know who to trust :(

Here's my understanding regarding what I've heard about Damon, being transparent, but also giving context. There have been a couple situations that were mentioned. A few years ago, during Humanz tour, a young fan made an accusation that they gave Damon a BJ on twt. The fan deleted their account shortly after fan backlash. There wasn't a lot of substantiating evidence. Another anon mentioned to me that they saw Damon with a fan in an elevator in a hotel in South America. Another fan told me privately they'd heard, through a contact with Anna that Damon was upset with Graham for dating Anna because Anna was so much younger than Graham, with Damon arguing that Anna was a child. My personal opinion is that neither (Damon) claim felt very substantial to me because there wasn't a lot of supporting evidence like how there was been with GC (multiple eyewitnesses, multiple victims with similar stories, visual evidence, etc.) I could be wrong.

On one of the gossip sites a user mentioned that they'd been around the band and alleged that Dave, Alex, and Graham had pretty awful behavior with relations with groupies, or indulging in that sort of thing and that while Damon was there he didn't participate and had given the excuse that he was tired and went back to his hotel room. (Again, this is a gossip site, so take everything with a grain of salt).

The other thing is that when I spoke to britpopabuse about it they said that they had not heard anything about Damon, and if he was involved it was likely because he got pulled into Graham's shit. So, that's all I have heard about Damon. Personally, I feel there's not enough of the same type of consistent evidence with Damon. I could be wrong. That said, I do think the band enable Graham a lot. To a pretty immoral level, being honest. They have covered G's bad behavior to save face with the media, like asking journalists to not write about Graham's bad behavior of assaulting people. Which - in the 90's maybe I get? Graham was a mess. But the band and Eleven are still doing it now.

And while I still love Damon's work, that does weigh on me. But I haven't, personally, seen enough consistent evidence to feel like Damon is doing the same thing GC is being accused of re: hanging out with underage or young fans. That's not to say he's flawless, or that I'm right, but, that's just what I've observed.
