The Questions:
1. Share a favorite memory. Any moment I got to share with my great aunt before she died, because she was the most wonderful and good person I've ever known. But if I had to pick only one of those moments - probably the last time I got to hug her. It may make me sad, but I always felt loved and like I truly belonged when she hugged me.
2. What is - by far - the stupidest thing you have ever done? Oh dear.. I honestly can't think of the one thing.. Maybe finishing six bottles of beer and half a bottle of whiskey on my own..? Sounds pretty stupid to me. lol
3. Do you prefer the mountains or the sea? Probably the sea. (Although I do like mountains and what they represent..)
4. What are your religious/spiritual beliefs? I like to know things about various religions/beliefs but I don't think I'll ever be able to just pick one.
5. What is the worst story you have ever read (any format will do) and why did it suck? I rarely read things that I don't like, and I actually can't remember the last time I stopped reading something because it sucked..so..I really couldn't say. *shrugs*
6. Greatest film ever made and why did you choose it? I adore different films for very different reasons..love and romance, love at first sight: Imagine Me and You, if you like to think about the fact that maybe reality isn't quite what you think it is I'd say I just love that one scene from A Perfect Getaway, if you want movies about wonderfully, different and very special people: Vitus, Billy Elliot, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Little Miss Sunshine, Amelie or.. I have too many films that are important to me, so I can't pick one as the Greatest Film Ever Made. It's just not possible. Sorry. :)
7. Tell me one song that never fails to get you fired up. Patty Griffin's Chief
8. Have you ever been truly scared? What/who was it that scared you? I get scared of a lot of things, but I think when I was a child I was most terrified of my dreams, so..maybe my subconscious? :P
9. Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter? You had to make me pick, didn't you? *sighs* Thing is - I adore Autumn and Winter both equally, and I'm always torn. But right now..I think Autumn. Like, cold autumn days, with the leaves lying around, so you can shuffle through them and make noise, or you can press them and sort them by colour. All the while the wind ruffles through your hair. It's just a great season. :)
10. Have you ever felt truly at peace and how did that peace come about? I think more so when I was younger - when I'd wander about; through the fields, the woods. Not really thinking much, just..being. That's usually when I feel truly at peace.
Leaning against a tree, sitting up in a tree's thick, solid branches and just listening to the world around you. The whisper of the leaves in the wind, the birds' chirping. Like, you can almost tell the grass is growing if you stayed there long enough.
Like nothing matters beside that moment.
I have a harder time with not-thinking now that I'm a bit older.
11. It’s your last day on Earth - how do you spend it? If I could spend it with all the people I love and care about - probably just hugging them plenty and giving them all the letters I'd have prepared to tell them how much I love them and want the best for them.
And then, as the day comes to a close I'd probably find a place by the sea where I could sit close to the comfort of the woods and take in the last rays of the sinking sun.
