            Britt Ekland is a Swedish actress and model. She has appeared in The Wicker Man (1973), The Six Million Dollar Man (1973), Fraternity Vacation (1985), Fantasy Island (1980), The Love Boat (1981), Valley of the Dolls (1982), Absolutely Fabulous (1994), and I’m a Celebrity (2010).

            Ekland was born in Stockholm, Sweden and was overweight as a child. As a teenager she started acting in the theatre and was sent to London to audition to feature in films. Ekland is best known for her style as well as her love life. She was married to Peter Sellers who proposed marriage after seeing her photo in the newspaper and went to meet her in London. The couple married in 1964 and divorced four years later due to Seller’s ‘cruelty’. Charlize Theron portrayed Ekland in The Life of Death of Peter Sellers (2004). She was also involved with Rod Stewart and Warren Beatty. Her autobiography, True Britt, was published in 1980.
