There isn’t really a point to this, I just wanted to share the love.

Brittlelimbs is definitely one of my favourite people in this fandom. She’s been so welcoming to me and such an absolute bae all the time and I adore her.

Grindelwald, graves, and the letter I.

I. Broken glass. 

The dining room was finely decorated. Graves didn’t have to see the furniture to know that much; the dining room was his own. His furniture, his apartment, his home. Even the wine glass that Grindelwald set next to his dinner plate had come from the set of four that Graves rarely touched himself. 

Grindelwald was summoning dinner from the kitchen with Graves’ wand and readjusting the plates to fit his precise expectations with hands that he’d transfigured in Graves’ image. There was very little about the man that Graves considered original, except perhaps the manner in which he treated his captives.

“You should eat,” Grindelwald coaxed from where he saw across from Graves. “You’ll need your strength.”

For the next round of torture, yes, Graves rather suspected he would need all the help he could get. “I’m not hungry,” he spat instead.

“You could at least try,” Grindelwald said, smiling a little when Graves jerked his hand up. It was shackled down, the metal sealed by runes. His right hand was missing, arm severed just above the elbow and cauterized shut.  “Where’s this wandless magic I’ve heard Americans are so good at, hm?”

Graves’ mouth twisted into a sneer. “I must have left it in my other hand.”

“Cheeky,” Grindelwald said, flicking his wand casually.

Pain shot through Graves’ remaining hand like fire, like hot needles that pierced straight to the bone and then deeper still. He half expected to find his skin splitting down the length of his fingers when he looked, but it was whole, all of it. The pain was in the mind, but it was enough.

Graves roared as the pain lanced up his arm, climbing closer and closer to his skull. Pinwheels under his muscle. Lightning across his nerves. The dining table split in front of him, cut clean down the center until the halves collapsed, spilling food and dishes across the floor.

Even Grindelwald flinched away, the pain in Graves’ arm disappearing with the man’s focus. A cut bloomed across his face, blood dripping down his cheek. Grindelwald chuckled as he wiped it away with the back of his hand.

“You’ve been very rude, Percival.”

Graves looked down, focused on the broken shards of the wine glass that were near his feet. There was one piece that was larger than the others. It came to a sharp, curving point. Graves twitched his fingers even though it hurt to try, and he didn’t let his focus waver even when Grindelwald grabbed him by the throat and hauled him, chair and all, out of the dining room.

The piece of glass followed dutifully and Grindelwald never noticed.

oh man im putting this under a read more bc its kind of spoilery

but im crying like throughout the whole end sequence I SWEAR TO GOD I thought they were gonna put baby in a cell and it was gonna pan over and there was gonna be griff and he was gonna be like “god damn it.” i mean I KNOW you’re supposed to assume he’s ~dead bc of that 4th wall break or whatever but i fucking REFUSE like smh man its just SUCH A GREAT PREMISE i was saying the other day why aren’t more people shipping it on the sheer AVAILABILITY of post-canon shit alone ??? ive seen ships take off with way way less

also i want to add that like, griff being in that jail would have given the movie such a GREAT abcba full circle structure because the movie literally starts with them looking at each other. BUT WHATEVER
