one time my best friend started a rally at his high school dressed as enjolras from les mis and like a third of the school followed him screaming and yelling into the gym
but here’s the thing:
the rally had no actual purpose
it was just a bunch of yelling
there was a piccolo player involved
and a lot of “do you hear the people sing”
there was no reason for this
no goal
no political or social purpose
just yelling
somehow there was a french flag
people missed homeroom and stuff for this
best goddamn senior prank ever
and it was all orchestrated because i showed my best friend a movie about angry french college kids and also the longest cat and mouse of all time
i think about this frequently
