If you’re in the market for an AR-15, I’d suggest you give the @brownellsinc BRN-180 series a look before you “pull the trigger.” The fact that the upper is self contained and can be used on any lower, is truly awesome. . The ability to use folding stocks is pretty cool and a feature that isn’t useless due to the fact it doesn’t require a buffer system like a traditional AR-15 in order to fire. . In all honesty, I’m impressed with the function and performance of the BRN-180S and would recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to a cookie-cutter AR-15. I’ve had solid performance with my BRN-180S and it has quickly into one of my favorite 5.56 shooting firearms, if not, my number one. I bring my BRN-180S everywhere and prefer to shoot it over most of my other 5.56 guns. . If you pick one up, you won’t regret it. The @brownellsinc BRN-180 in 300blk and 5.56. . I’m still working on completing the 300blk, but with needing to save money right now, it’s using borrowed parts. I still need some @danieldefense fixed front and rears (or the MagPul BUIS set), an angled foregrip of some kind (probably MagPul AFG), and a @sb.tactical SBA3 (the one on it now is borrowed). . Right now, the 5.56 is configured exactly how it’ll stay. It’s a dependable tack-driver. .
