As I'm watching as much content as I can before I say goodbye to YouTube tomorrow (hopefully not for forever), this one gave me pause and inspired me a little bit. 🥲 This guy's got passion.

It's a very belated new year's greeting...

And I will be honest, my main reason of posting this is basically just my annual attempt of preventing this account from being deactivated (if the "one-year not posting" rule still stays the same).

First of all...

And... I want to talk about this drawing:

I forgot when exactly I drew this, but the file says it's April 11th 2025. This was drawn with Autodesk Sketchbook app like most of my recent drawings.

This drawing is basically based on my drawing that I posted for the first time in this Tumblr account (except the worm is mirrored so it's facing left, and no eyes and smile). And...

I used this drawing for my YouTube channel.

Yes, I made a YouTube channel about nine months ago and this is the first time I talk about it.

I feel like I had this dream of becoming a Let's Player since... I guess 2014, during the FNaF hype. At that time, I didn't have editing skill, my laptop was not strong enough for recording gameplay, and...

I guess when my parents (mostly my father) disapproved my idea of taking psychology major, even though it's still something "academic", the possibility of getting my desire to be a Let's Player supported by them was stomped into dust.

And now, for some reasons, when even those who pump "non-human" content daily get millions of subs and billions of views, I feel like I started my dream too late.

That's why it took me this long to talk about the existence of my YouTube channel.

Currently, I'm posting Tekken "diary" videos on the channel--which is about my progress from beginner level until where I am now, rank-wise.

Right now, I am posting Season 1 stuffs--which is one season, almost two seasons late. I could have just posted all the footage raw. Or just clip the "hype" parts and just post it immediately. I would have catched up by now.

Then, I saw this:

"Broadcast YOUrself".

There were--and are still--many times I was scared that my channel will fail. That I won't get money out of it like my friends and I won't be able to help lighten up my mom's burden.

But, I keep telling myself to keep going and stop worrying all over the place. My excessive fear was the reason why it took me eleven years to start doing what I had desired.

Hopefully, I can play games that I want to play for my channel one day--especially the games that I had mentioned in this Tumblr page like Slime Rancher 1 and 2, and Assassin's Creed 3.

Even if it takes me months to edit one video, I will do it. I don't want to share just raw clips. I want to share my human thought process and emotions in those clips.

Even if I still don't get money out of it after doing it for eleven years, I will do it for eleven years more.

Until then, I'll do my best to finish (or at least catch up) my recent YouTube "series", while learning more about editing along the way. And maybe I can get a proper mic and face cam.

What I am doing currently is a minuscule step. But I am moving, nonetheless.
