On May 14th we posted a picture of a lizard doing a “yoga pose” who was hanging out at our house. Yesterday at Lake Jocassee we saw another Broad-headed skink who let us get close to it as it was sunning itself on a tree in one of the coves. May 1, 2017: Skinks on a log. I was on a walk the other day with my Rocco dog when I noticed some stripes out of the corner of my eye. At first I thought it was a snake, however upon closer inspection I realized it was a skink. Upon even closer inspection, I realized it was two skinks.
