This week we were notified that a composition we recorded came in at number 9 on the Broadjam Top Ten. The category is “Blues-Chicago.” I composed the piece as a liturgical postude. I am baffled how anyone could mistake this as blues (which I consider a very high expression of the composer’s art. I just don’t consider myself gifted in that way).
