This is random as hell but,
does anyone have a good picture/video of the Phantom of the Opera chandelier or can explain the mechanics of how they do the beginning lift and drop (both from Broadway or any staged product)

I got to touch the street lamp at A Bronx Tale on Broadway and
it didn’t feel like metal and I felt all the disappointment in the world surround me. I’m kidding. but it was weird, it’s so well-made, I genuinely expected it to be metal.
a friend of mine is friends with Richard and got us backstage so my first instinct was to literally just touch the entire set so that was rad.
also a good portion of the cast knows me by name. christiani waves to me during bows, will knows me by name, it’s rad.
