Went to the Goodwill by my cousins & found this Spacemaker box. I almost didn’t get it but for 99c why not? I’m obsessed with collecting these boxes because my whole 3rd grade class at Brodnicki had them & we made bookmarks off the tops. These are a 90s school supply staple.
Look what I found at Goodwill! The same SpaceMaker pencil box I had I believe in 5th grade. I had one before this in 3rd grade but forgot what color it was? (I feel like it was green I didn’t like that color so I forgot the details) I only remember that my 1st one was the one I made Bookmarks on. I made a Blue, Red & Purple bookmark that I loved because it was bendy & looked like a tye dye fruit roll up. I kind of want to try to make one again for old time sake.
My unessesary 90s buy! I loved the metallic purple color. In 4th grade my fav color became purple for a while & it’s still kinda a happy color for me. I have 2 more SpaceMaker pencil boxes on my Wishlist that I may get later on. My original one was Blue & Purple; I have no idea why I feel I need it again but we will see...
On Craigslist browsing pets & saw a picture of this Bird that looks a lot like my bird Bock from 96’!!! Looking at this Bock lookalike makes me miss her soo much. I miss all of my childhood pets (except the Turtles lol)
This song brings back a memory of me coming home from School in the 4th grade. I remember turning on my radio & this was playing on B96. I had these sheer white curtains with both of my windows open & breeze coming through while the curtains flowed. I encouraged my bird Bock to fly around as the curtains blew & song played. I felt like that should've been a movie scene.
When I went to my 2nd Elementary School Brodnicki. I forgot why our 1st grade teacher took us out to the field but I remember one of my classmates told me this was a Honeysuckle & plucked one of them out so I tried it & it was actually sweet. I also used to catch grasshoppers & bring them in the classroom keeping them hidden in my pencil box then let it go after school.
I remember at some point in Elementary School maybe 2nd-3rd grade our music teacher Ms. Tuesch taught us how to play these flutes & we got to keep them. I forgot the songs we sung but Pizza Pizza Daddio was the song we sung in her last class before telling us that she was having a baby. I transferred Schools that year.
My legs hurt already, I was soo competitive to try to push it all the way back.
