my life has been forever altered by playing with the broil feature in my oven.
Chicken/veggie skewers? Low until cooked halfway through, flip, high until the tips get a bit of char, flip again keep on high until tips are charred and turn off.
Reheating blueberry cobbler cake with crumbles? Low for 8-10 mins depending on how much crunch you want on top
Crisp up the outer cheese layer on a lasagna on low *bites lip*
S’mores? lay the graham cracker, then chocolate pieces, and put the marshmallow flat side down, broil on low until the marshmallow top flat layer has desired crisping
Homemade pizza? Broil on low for a few mins if you want to get a little char on the cheese or crust
I’m sure there’s more stuff but I can’t remember at the moment, I’ll keep adding as I remember/experiment, please share if you have any broiler uses
