I just got this text from my mom “Finally the regime in Venezuela is down. Maduro and wife are in the possession of the USA government.” And my response out loud was “damn, you’re really dumb”.

Woman, do you not understand that they don’t care about the humans in Venezuela? They only want the oil.

“But Maduro was just giving it away.”

And this dude is just gonna fucking TAKE it!

He’s going to do to Venezuela what the Middle East didn’t allow. Because Venezuela is the Middle East of the western hemisphere.

He’s going to pillage Venezuela for every single drop it’s worth and then toss it back down into the depths of the Earth’s core the moment it stops being useful for his friends.

And the people will continue to not find anything in the stores. And the people will continue to not have jobs. And the people will continue to not have money. And the people will continue to not have food. And more people will not have even a tin roof over their heads. And the people will continue to not have access to medical attention and medicines. And exponentially more people will die.

Especially the moment Venezuela tries to fight to keep their oil.

IF they fight to keep their oil. IF MCM didn’t already sell out Venezuela’s wealth for her own personal power. And IF she didn’t? And IF she does continue to fight FOR Venezuela not just for herself? The American Regime will simply place a new figurehead in Venezuela that will allow them to do what they want. And discard MCM the moment she stops cooperating with the American Regime.

Chicken/veggie skewers? Low until cooked halfway through, flip, high until the tips get a bit of char, flip again keep on high until tips are charred and turn off.

Reheating blueberry cobbler cake with crumbles? Low for 8-10 mins depending on how much crunch you want on top

Crisp up the outer cheese layer on a lasagna on low *bites lip*

S’mores? lay the graham cracker, then chocolate pieces, and put the marshmallow flat side down, broil on low until the marshmallow top flat layer has desired crisping

Homemade pizza? Broil on low for a few mins if you want to get a little char on the cheese or crust

I’m sure there’s more stuff but I can’t remember at the moment, I’ll keep adding as I remember/experiment, please share if you have any broiler uses

Car ride back home from brunch/lunch

S: my child, D: my partner, R: my sibling, G: my parent

S: guess what? my favorite holiday is Halloween!

D: I’m not surprised

K: you kind of didn’t get much of an option with the family you were born into, it’d be more surprising if it WASN’T your favorite holiday

S: yeah cause imagine R and G would get all crazy like “how can it not be your favorite!?”

maybe you don’t need to be in the next few chapters. there are already a few you weren’t there for. there can be a few more without you. we’ve already gone beyond our wildest dreams together once. i don’t doubt we can do it again. and we already have a dream this time.
