Where do I begin.
Well he is a vampire, when you first meat him he was dark and mysterious, but the more you talked you realized that he was just a guy with a broken heart, misunderstood and mistreated. All he wanted was to be accepted and loved, but so many people broke him, he chose to become dark and emotionless. But he never lost his humanity, it's just hidden under all his broken soul.
