After some disassembly to a) find the source of the wonky laptop screen hinge And b) replace some of the screws that I may or may not have forgotten to put back last time, I have discovered that the right screen hinge has decided to disassemble itself Fun times

so my laptop done fucked up

the hinge on the right side is stuck (somehow) and a screw fell out so it can't be screwed back in

so i'm scared to open/close it bc of the sound it makes

my dad's gonna have a look at it, but he knows like 0% about laptops (tho he is a trained engineer, so screws and hinges??) but i don't want him to steal my laptop for the whole night bc i need it to do coursework.. i need it all day tomorrow too, bc is study day and i need to do history

mum said there would be a //really// small chance i could get a new one soon, but pfff, all the electronics in the house came from my grandad, not my parents

even tho laptops are kinda cheap now, this old thing cost like £500, and you can get most for around £300 now

please pray for my laptop; my coursework and future grade depends on it not fucking up

Any HP users wanna help me? The hinge on my laptop is basically hanging by a thread. Someone once said that as long as you didn't damage the laptop, they'll fix it for free. I've never dropped this laptop but the warranty has run out. Will HP still repair it?

Alright, so June is going to be a very busy month for us. It's actually going to be a busy summer as a whole so don't pass up a chance to see us when you can! They're only $10, which is awesome compared to our break contest shows.
