I was today years old when I realized that Dachande's blooded mark isn't just a lightning bolt but also doubles as a little knife... because his name means "different knife".

TFW it hits you that the fact that Dachande's name (meaning 'Different Knife') refers to the tusk he broke at some point most probably post-birth kind of implies that Yautja names can change if significant things happen to them.

So I'm making the parameter of the sticker, but I also noticed it could be a standee. Thoughts & any major criticisms? I'm gonna see if I can sell some in person but idk many who know who Machiko is IRL.

I know Broken Tusk gets a lot of love, and it's deserved, of course, but I also wish Vk'leita got some recognition as well. (He's only in the AVP novel and not the comic, so I get it, but still.)

Vk'leita is the one who finds Machiko and realizes that she's Blooded and a hunter, that she knew Dachande and likely knew how he died. He's the one who is really excited at the idea of learning from an ooman, about sharing his culture with her and learning more about her people. Vk'leita is fascinated by Machiko, and his genuine curiosity is delightful. So much nicer than the pack she ends up with.

Vk'leita is the best boy.

From Aliens vs Predator : Prey

Made a quick 1hr Pred art from memory, so this portrait here is pretty much freeform. If I will make more art with BT, his design will surely change.

Looking back at my preds from many years ago the style leap is pretty huge, but I was mostly happy that my hand still remembers some of the quick ways to draw Yautjas... somewhat :D (I just checked and my last Predator art was in 2013...)

Just saying decided to take the 2nd photo just now because for some reason the first is sideways despite if I recall this wasn't my attention.

But I wanna get this out of the way first. After I got of the shower. I saw this guy here. I finally have the legend himself Dachande/Broken Tusk.

I haven't opened yet and my Yautja collection is kind of big right now. But glad I finally have him. Edit gonna admit I think he was the most expensive of the stuff that I got my mom to order.

Yet again glad I got him because he was on my mind a few days ago.
