cleo had her reservations about bruce wayne and his family. how could she not when they were part of the reason she was in jail in the first place. not that she could blame them entirely, it wasn't like gotham had been her home for very long when her sticky fingers got the best of her and put her right in the sights of the big bat. when sebastian barreled out of the alley that she had been cooped up in and ran almost smack into the man's leg as he passed, cleo was up faster than she thought she could be. "he's friendly," she blurted out as her little companion climbed his way up to safely perch on her shoulder. cleo narrowed her eyes slightly as she surveyed the man. "as long as you're not here to cause trouble for me. he's very protective."

she was used to being around people that could do different things. hell, her husband was from another planet and could fly. if she could handle that, she could handle pretty much anything. "so do you have to oil up the wings for them to work or are those some of those super fancy wings i've been hearing about?" lois asked with genuine curiosity as she offered the man a cup of coffee. "just wonderin because they look pretty fancy from what i've seen."

kori hated all of this if she really had to be honest about it. she didn't like being negative at all if she could help it but there was no denying how bad all of it was. whether it was the stress put on her or what she saw happen to her friends, there was nothing she could really do to stop any of it. "rachel!" kori chirped as she fell into step beside her friend. "i think we should try to do something fun today. maybe that would make you feel a little better? we can go for some of the ice cream! or a movie! or you pick."
