Adrian was asleep when he smelt smoke. Of course, for the time being, he couldn't really tell if the smoke was in real life or moving in through his dream. Of course in his dream he was in his plane, the engine catching fire as he ...

The fire alarm went off, Adrian shot up out of bed like he was, well, being shot at. His heart started pounding, a gasp of air moving into his lungs before he quickly got up out of the bed. He was having flashbacks- his whole body shaking and sweating as he stumbled to the door and ripped it open, the hinges cracking a little bit. Of course he wasn't worried about his stuff as he only had a cot and three books, all of his clothes black and simple. He wasn't one to keep things that could be easily left behind, after all. 

Once he got out of the building he looked at the door in a panic, hearing the screams of people that weren't there, not anymore. When he felt someone move up behind him he jumped about a foot in the air, whirling around as he noticed everyone else in layers of clothes, while he was simply out in pj pants and nothing more.

"hey ash -- are you okay?" finn asked as he saw asher for the first time in several days while walking down the busy hallway. he ran after the other holding onto the strap of his backpack. "why haven't you been in? did something happen?" he continued to question, hoping that the he wouldn't be ignored and shrugged off like he had been in recent weeks. "talk to me -- please." the male questioned as he just stared towards the other, a tone of desperation laced in his voice.

the walk up to the room seemed to take an eternity-- vance had almost talked himself out of visiting. when he reached the door he brushed his hands over his attire, smoothing out his white shirt and black jeans, before messing with his hair a little. he hadn't seen rose in a long time, too long, and he wasn't sure what to expect. especially now that she had birthed his child. his child, it was driving him mad. vance had fucked up to the point where he now had a premature baby to represent his mistakes. after much diliberation, he pushed the door open, slowly, trying to make minimal noise. he had been certain of what to feel about the situation until he saw rose, and the baby; everything he had thought and felt prior to that moment was completely blown out of the water. he cleared his throat before speaking, "so this is him, huh?"
