I’m not 100% sure what you’re asking :(
The only actions I use in photoshop are actions to quickly crop/resize the GIF and get rid of frames I’m not using. Every action/script/whatever I use I wrote myself to not have to repeatedly do things, so the way I have it set up is probably different than how most people use actions and stuff…I’m not really sure how most people do it…
I’m guessing you’re referring to actions with built-in settings (topaz stuff, sharpen, blur, whatever)? I don’t really do a lot of that. If the source video is good then I’d probably rather not mess with it too much by trying to “clean” the frames, or whatever. Photoshop adjustments like curves/brightness & contrast etc I do manually/differently on every gif.
If there’s any magic involved it has little to do with settings and more to do with the source videos, how I use the best source videos available, and the adjustments in photoshop (aka the PSD).
