to say this thing was incredibly boring was an understatement of the century. it led to scottie scouting out other things to do, making her own entertainment. she instead finds something else in the midst of that entertainment except she isn't laughing. her tracks stop dead in place as her eyes meet him, feeling every chill run through her body leaving her frozen. her heart feels like it's sunk deep into her stomach as the familiarity of the past reflects back at her, one she'd hope she'd never see again. and now, suddenly, it feels as if the clock has started ticking.
