It's hard for Scythe to wake up early. Not that she's a night owl, just difficult. She needs like an hour or two to get going and then she's her usual chatty self ready for work. Her grind never stops.
Scythe usually sleeps at the right side of the bed to cuddle with Broker. Not only to cuddle tho. Something about keeping him together because what if she wakes up one morning and her beautiful wife is scattered all across the bed and apparently his whole body disattached and he's like honey please call Medkit I can't be late to service. Lmao.
MEDKIT DOESN'T WANT TO SLEEP WITH THEM. He still does but not too often. Something about not wanting to wake his partners up if he has a nightmare and something about the heat. Yes it's cold in Lost Temple at night, but it's still too hot to sleep with two other people. He's like all sweaty and his body touches another person's body and what if someone breathes at him the wrong way and ew ew ew sensory issues. It's alright if it's just for cuddles before sleep but rarely a full night.
Though Medkit likes to sleep together during siestas. You know, the naps in the afternoon? If he's out on patrol only with Scythe they like to take breaks. Idk, they find some cliff and chill under it, shoulder to shoulder. If he's stationed in the infirmary, he sleeps there at his desk and when he wakes up always finds Broker sleeping beside. Clingy bastard.
Why are all hcs above are about sleeping. Let's change that.
Scythe's work responsibilities consist of: debt collecting (something about church corrupted banking system), bounty hunting (more like a side thing unless it's a direct order from Father), border patrolling (Lost Temple is a bunch of different separated groups and factions with a lot of other bounty hunters, hoarders and others. It's important to insure that the territory that belongs to church is safe) and general business trips with Medkit and Broker as her entourage. She's the boss lady out here.
Speaking of which. Scythe has a bunch of people under her command. Not much but it's a good amount. All of them are trusted members of the church that are aware of the darker side of it all and oh they are ready to spill some blood if it's for the greater good. Scythe maintains good relationships with every single one of her soldiers. They're not just employees, they're her buddies, her friends. Comrades.
DON'T ASK WHY ALL THESE HCS ARE SO SCYTHE CENTRIC I JUST LOVE HER OKAY. Scythe is very much respected in the church. She's often referred to as the daughter because of her status of Father's confidant. But she's equally feared. Scythe may be the most wanted in other regions but in Lost Temple she's just an another desert dweller with a bounty on her head. Yes it's a big bounty but how many of ordinary inphernals in Lost Temple know of it? Not much. Maybe in Crossroads people will be like OMG IT'S THE RIFLE WHAT THE PHUCK but it's different in Lost Temple. People know about Scythe, rumors do be spreading. But if you aren't a hunter, a thief or her employee you wouldn't know of her work behind church's scene.
That being said, only church members know of Scythe as, well.. Scythe. Everywhere else she's known as The Rifle. On all the bounties, on social media, she introduces herself as Rifle. And to follow that up, if she has to summon her gear, she will show the rifle. She transforms it to scythe if either the person she's about to kill won't live to tell the tale or if it's an emergency and close combat is inevitable.
Broker and Scythe bought the revolver for Medkit a long-long time ago. It was custom made, a pretty thing that lays perfectly in his hand. It was a touching gift. He modified it later and has stuck with it ever since.
Since his revolver isn't a gear, Medkt has to have it on him all the time. It's a good threatening tool though. When he's escorting Scythe on an assignment she could flick her hand and Medkit would take the revolver out and spin the barrel in a sinister hint. That's hot dare I say. How bizarre.
Btw Scythe teached Medkit to use his revolver and helped him improve his aim. Ofc he knows how to wield a gun, he was a weapon engineer, but a revolver is different. He needed some time to get used to it.
Scythe and Broker like to compete in throwing knives. Broker usually wins.
Scythe's better at throwing axes though (Broker can't even pick them up).
uhh, hello! My (actually platonic) ship is Medkit x broker only because they both have to take care of the hundreds of thousands of their own mini plush selves together.
broker actually likes to take care of the broker brokerlings while Medkit does not, so Medkit lets broker babysit them.
the medkitlings see broker as some sort of cool uncle and always come back to Medkit with bows on their horns and a goofy little smile.
