Hello! Here with Dusekkar/Overseer thoughts!

It's kinda based on a silly little daydream of mine; Broker doesn't worship/believe in the deities, thus does not belief in Ghostwalker nor his creations—how could Overseer attain information of them? The cult definitely values knowledge, given that Broker is such a high ranking member, so would they afford to lose out on a crucial part of history? I wouldnt be surprised if Overseer has other connections to help him with the dirty work. However, it won't be as gracious as if he were to go to the direct source (i.e., watchers' libraries). How can he guarantee that—if someone else found them and got something—his henchmen wouldn't make stupid decisions that'd minimize gain?

Overseer is going on a path to infinite knowledge to the eldest watcher's library, all whilst Dusekkar not only knows of it but also is toying with him. She wouldn't mess around much (watchers are neutral after all)... It'd just be fun seeing a demon try with all their effort at causing ruckus with others for their scheme. Being isolated means you dont see examples with your own two (six?) eyes often.

It's definitely an idolization/parasocial (?) type attraction with Overseer. And I dont think Dusekkar's compassion goes deeper than platonic affection. But the thought, the drive, the anticipation—I'd love to see that

I've been sooo ill over the concept of banhook recently... (/pos) it's hard to put into words for a Tumblr ask but I feel like Banhammer and Scythe are both very passionate people and because of that passion Hook sees a bit of Scythe in Banhammer and grows far more attached than they should (they miss their big beautiful butch)

I do think they'd eventually get to know Banhammer better and end up loving her even more the more they're able to separate her from Scythe...

As for Banhammer I think about her A TON I think she could use a good listener in her life... People hear her talk all the time for sure (who couldn't hear her honestly) but I feel like there aren't many people who would really listen yk?? Like she comes off as so confident in herself I feel like even people who consider her a friend wouldn't really feel the need to take it any further than face value. I think Hook giving her the time of day not because they feel intimidated or that they have to but because they genuinely want to would mean the world to her

Biobox angst where it’s like. Boombox gave biograft life. He hacked him and gave him sentience out of pity. Biograft, as much as he feels, never gave permission to do that. With a part of his old programming still haunting him, tugging at his mind telling him he’s wrong, he obviously somewhat hates boombox for what he did. He didn’t want to be able to feel the pain he does, the lust for bloodshed and the fact he has to restrain it untill he collapses. How would one even deal with that?

okay so boombox would definitely make a playlist for biograft, probably kicking his stupid cyborg feet laying in bed while he did it.

first track would probably be “D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L” by Panchiko. Song is about someone finally understanding that there isn’t really something wrong with them, but that they just haven’t found the people who think like them untill now. (“We all listen to deathmetal.”, “they say she’s a harpy/she’s just off her meds”).

Unrelated, but I feel like this track is very biograft. The whole track I feel intensely, INTENSELY relates back to biografts’ whole “I CANNOT BE FAULTY” mentality that blackrock programmed into him (something that would have taken him YEARS to break likely). The whole time every single missinput was seen as an error, a sin. He was alive, somewhere down deep, but was convinced that this “alive-ness” needed to be eradicated for the purpose of efficiency. He never got the chance to realize he isn’t broken untill he met the green guy. He finally got a place that oddly feels more comforting than blackrock ever could be, even though he can’t fully escape his purpose, and is practically living in depression trying to stay purposeless. I think that’s why the track is great. It’s a comforting song. also deathmetal is the official biobox ship name SO LIKE. Two sticks one stone?

Another track that I feel would be very much bio coded, that boombox probably would have added in there, would be habitual crush by C418. IT IS SO INCREDIBLY UNDERRATED. It’s a really fast paced progressive breakcore song about the complexity of love and trust, and yet the simplistic summarization of its warming embrace and emotion. It’s a beautiful piece of art that somehow manages to get so much across with most of the lyrics being vocal chops and eventually repetitions of “I guess I love you”. Most of the beauty comes from the intense atmosphere throughout the track that really drives home the feeling of love as a concept. I think biograft would feel love to an extent, and wouldn’t understand it. Not because he’s a robot and it’s their nature, but because he never got the chance to learn it, since he was told to ignore it, mentions of it, etc. The only love he thinks he has felt is his thirst for blood, so you can imagine the surprise that one might get when they realize and feel what love truly is. And to him it’s more new than anything. It’s strange due to the way he grew up. Why does he act the way he does, and how can he control it? Why can he not control it? He feels what love is, but how it drives others and him is something he confuses. At the end of the day, maybe he realizes that love just is. Idk.

there’s also probably daft punk in there. Like the track “Technologic”. But like whatever. also maybe some original sound tracks as well. I think biograft would love ambient music. Definently Aphex twin in there as well..

i like to think of Biobox as daft punk… yk? Boom probably taught the orange box to make music one way or another. Maybe it just ends up making little ambient jams in his little circuits or something but. They both do make music. And they both use music as a kind of coping mechanism for each other, one from stress and having to keep up this fake identity of who he really is, and the other as a way to get his mind off of whatever his previous purpose was supposed to be, and the not understanding fact that he killed people and doesn’t feel anything about it. It’s lovely really….
