Earlier this month, I drew an entry for the The Power of the Dog’s Bronco Henry challenge over on Twitter in which they asked for creative takes on who this mysterious character was. My entry consisted on four pages of pencil drawings in a leather-bound sketchbook which were made to resemble sketches Phil Burbank could have drawn of his idol.

Apparently, this approach was appreciated by whoever judged the entries. Today, an enormous packaged arrived containing the beautiful The Power of the Dog film book (you can find an online version here) and a poster signed by Jane Campion. To say that I was surprised would be an understatement. When they mentioned they’d be giving away prizes, I didn’t expect something huge like this (I didn’t expect to win anything, what’s more). I’m over the moon now.
