Alright I need to be asleep but since I’m still awake anyways because lol breathing sucks…
We all had to interpret the writing and the agreement between three people spoke on how we saw the battle go out. None of use read the battles together so no one would be influenced on it. We all gave our opinions to each other afterwards, only discussing details if needed. Now if you got a problem with the writing (as I’m seeing that as a common complaint) don’t fault them because everyone has different levels. Some people struggle to write battles. Others don’t. Contest battles take on another realm with writing them. More importantly, it’s fucking rude to just automatically point that out as a factor. Things have got pointed out after the calls were made but we’re not changing them as we’re sticking to our decisions because it was made based on how we interpreted the writing individually. We didn’t intervene because we wanted this to be fair and fun to both parties but if some issues were going down for example if someone felt godmodding was an issue then a)that person could have gone to the user or b)came to us as then we would finally step in like with other issues that happened in earlier rounds with disappearing partners/can’t make winning decisions. If you still don’t understand how judgements were made, ASK. All mods rp canon coordinators so yes we stuck with canon anime contest ethics. If you need that playby, ASK, as we can point you to an episode or even to a guide. I for one care passionately about coordinators/contests so seeing all this disconnection on writing, the calls, etc just needs to stop unless you’re truly unfamiliar with the anime contests as they differ heavily from game. That’s all I have for you all for tonight as I’m going to go prop myself with 10 pillows and attempt to sleep and forget about this because remember we’re people too who had to put work in this as well.
