Brooke could feel his eyes on her, she doubted that sixth sense about where he was and when he was looking at her would ever go away. Though why he was looking at her was what she couldn't figure out, and she hadn't turned her head to meet his gaze yet. They were at the same house party, which had become only slightly less awkward since they'd agreed to try giving friendship a go. They still didn't really know how to act around each other, and there was still some tension, but she at least knew she was doing her best, though she couldn't say the same for the male. She was dancing with someone, so why could she feel Matt's eyes boring into her. She closed her eyes and leaned her forehead against the other man, trying to force herself to focus on him and not the thoughts of her ex and the increasing urge she had to turn around and confront him.
