we have been best friends our entire lives and have lived in separate cites since becoming adults. i'm in love with you and i always thought you were in love with me too in some unspoken, what-if kind of way. when you called me to tell me you were engaged to your significant other, i thought you were kidding. when i met them and saw it was real, i thought it would end soon enough. now it's so so real and your wedding is next week and i don't know what to do or how to look at you without crumbling.

Give me a plot based on this. Muse A and Muse B have been together for years, and things always just seemed to get worse and worse, but they can’t seem to let the other one go. Even when Muse A is doing things Muse B hates, and vice versa, they still come back together despite all the toxicity. Give me fights and making up and more fights. Give me angst and fluff and knowing they shouldn’t be together but they can’t stop.
