Liz rested her hands over her chest, fighting back the urge to cry hysterically. Her little girl... She had known for a very long time that Brooke wasn’t a little girl anymore, but there was something different about a wedding day. Her eyes traced over the woman who her daughter had become. She was a wonderful person with an absolutely beautiful soul. She wasn’t sure how after all the mistakes that had been made between them. How had she forgiven her? The honor of getting the opportunity to walk her down the aisle was nothing short of a miracle. A few years ago, she would have even expected a wedding invitation. She inhaled deeply, taking a step forward. She reached out to put her hand on Brooke’s lower back, leaning over to give her the gentlest of kisses to keep from messing up anything. “That’s my girl... and I love you so much...”
