Bade was feeling better and better by the day, although he was faking some of his pain in order to stay in the hospital for at least five days, befriending others who wee in a similar situation to him. He played it well, at least so he thought. He was looking around for any sign of Brooke since day one, and he could find it for a few minutes at a time. The bruises were big on his face, some of his face swollen, and he still had some difficulty walking, so of course he made his way through the hospital looking for his target.
She was all professional kindness, he enjoyed seeing that, but he knew he would need to do his best to create more than a professional relationship.
