Invasion of the Body Snatchers
&& @brookeadams
It’s not like Cassie hated apologizing to people. Whenever the situation presented itself, the female knew how to handle situations. She just hated apologizing for anything childhood related, anything related to the existence of Anna Warren. Even thinking her mother caused an eye rolling sensation. She did not care what or how Anna spoke about Cassie - she never realized the worth of the younger Warren compared to Jonathan. When returning back to Lanford, Cassie hadn’t expected to even run into Brooke. Having only heard a brief story or two about the other throughout the years, she had thought hard of the childhood friend. Yet, remorse had started to sprout and tidal wave of flashbacks came surfacing around. Of course, she remembered why their friendship ended. A petty reason because of her mother. It was no sad tale over the non-existent of Cassie’s father, something hardly touched upon. When a similar situation happened with Brooke, mother related condition, Anna had pestered the young Warren and demanded for the friendship to part. Perhaps, it would’ve gotten the curiosity to Cassie, touching upon the subject of her father, wanting the sudden urge to understand why people left. She was young, she wanted to know. But the conversation got cut short, an innocent friendship with her mothers doing ended. With every resist, attempting to sneak out to meet with Brooke, hawk eyes from the witch herself. There had plenty going on in Cassie’s life ; a single mother, Jonathan, Kenna and Dylan. She wanted to clear the air, hence why she offered for a coffee meet up. Sitting outside, the late June breeze flowing in the light blonde locks, Cassie waited for the other. Seeing her, Cassie stood up before wrapping an arm around the other, a soft smile upon her lips, “Thanks for meeting me.”

Being a mother meant her whole world wrapped around her daughter, Trixie. Never complaining, seeing how Trixie had been the best thing to ever happen out of her marriage. There was no spiteful feelings towards her ex husband. The woman was just thankful for being welcomed such a confident, often challenging but smile raising daughter. It was like the daughter learned the tricks of the crop quickly, batting her thick, dark brown coated lashes at any individual passing by. No matter their places, Trixie took the steps to proceed to intimating conversations. As for their journey to the grocery store, the younger version of Cassandra seemed to be balanced today. Weaving through the grain isles, her expressive blue hues began to wander over the shelving before feeling a tug on her blouse. “This one,” said her daughter, soft pitched tone holding up a box of pasta. Laughing, she bent down and placed a kiss upon her daughters head before grabbing the pasta. “Good job, sweetie. Whole grain? Bold move. Don’t complain if it’s not your up to your tasting. Although, I believe you’ll be pleased.” Who was Cassandra kidding? She loved whole grain. It only showed this was her daughter ; if only Trix enjoyed it too.
Before leaving the isle, she made sure to grab some alfredo and marinara sauce. Had it only been a spilt second, having a single thought over how bare their day was without her daughters actions came flat into a line. Earlier in the store, they argued over putting her in the cart. Now look what she done. Deeply sighing, she knew how sick this world was and quickly exited the isle before frantically looking around. Only to witness her young daughter and a woman discussing things. “My mother loves that snack. She had always said her and her childhood friend would eat it,” declared Trixie, beaming up at the woman with few teeth missing. “Also you are pretty. Where did you get your dress from? Oo, maybe I should ask my mom. She’s a fashion blogger.” The younger girl confidently stated, admiring into closer look at the fashion item. “Trixie --” Cassandra quickly entered into the conversation, grabbing a hold of her daughter hand before getting to her height. “Mommy loves you but she hates when you disappear and do this acts. We get it, you love people. We’ll discuss this fully when we get home.” Voice stern, the defeat and confidence of her daughter quickly disappeared before standing up. Sighing, she tucked a strand of blonde locks behind her ear. “I’m so.. sorry about her,” she began, looking but at the familiar female. She’d like to imagine it was Brooke Adams, knowing their falling out had been one who traumatized Cassie. It was all Anna’s doing ; the wicked monster of the Warren Family. “Brooke? Brooke Adams?”
31 for 31 2021 Day 21 Movie: Invasion of the Body Snatchers(1978) Let me just say that Donald Sutherland’s character Matthew Bennell takes his job with the SF Heath Dept. way to serious. Bruh, this whole invasion thing is above your pay grade. Like, tell your superiors. File a report, and get back to being Hugo from Bob’s Burgers! On a serious note Body Snatchers was a fine movie. I wasn’t really feeling this movie going into it, and it was better than I expected. Also I had fun with the man-faced dog. Jeff Goldblum’s weird ass and Leonard Nimoy’s Vulcan ass as always are not without their merits. The drawing was pretty fun too, even in Jeff Goldblum and Galvatron..er.. Nimoy didn’t turn out🤷🏻♂️ . . . . . #donaldsutherland #brookeadams #jeffgoldblum #leonardnimoy #philipkaufman #manfaceddog #invaisonofthebodysnatchers1978 #31for31 #daytonartist #daytonohioartist #ohioartist #sethmarchantartwork #digitalmanipulation #digitalart #creepyart #horrormovies #horrorfan #artistsoninstagram #horrordrawing #horrorfanatic #illustration #macabreart #darkart #horrorlife #creepy #drawing #horrorartwork #horror #horrorgeek #creepyartwork (at Englewood, Ohio) https://www.instagram.com/p/CVeCBlMsG91/?utm_medium=tumblr

Remake Vs Original: Invasion Of The Body Snatchers The Finale
By: Justin Hopkins
**SPOILER WARNING**
And here we are. The end of the Invasion Of The Body Snatcher movies. It has been a fun ride throughout. While the 1978 version has been clinging to its number one spot. There hasn’t been a bad movie in the bunch. Both the 1956 version and Body Snatchers from 1993 were both really good films with plenty of their own ideas and spins on the ball. So, much so…
